TEMPLES

Temple Israel, Ridgewood, NJ

A challenging job in that we had to keep their sanctuary, school and office operational. This was a phased project with temporary utilities and temporary trailers.

Temple Ner Tamid, Bloomfield, NJ, Repeat Customer

Transforming an old temple to a beautiful state-of-the-art facility.

Highland Park Conservative Temple, Highland Park, NJ

Due to a fire in the sanctuary, a complete renovation of the entire existing facility was required plus a major addition to the main sanctuary on an extremely limited site.

Temple Emeth, Teaneck, NJ, Repeat Customer

Our dad and uncle, the second-generation Visbeen, built the sanctuary addition in 1968. We went back as the third generation in 1998 and put a new addition onto the temple and major renovation — all masonry products inside and out. The exterior is completely brick with fabricated slate slabs; the interior is ground face block, with wood truss ceilings and special slate. In 2009 we returned to renovate the sanctuary once again including erecting temporary scaffolding and airtight flooring 30 feet above the entire sanctuary floor to complete the abatement and ceiling replacement.

Barnert Temple, Franklin Lakes, NJ, Repeat Customer

Our grandfather built the original Barnert Temple in Paterson. When they decided to move from Paterson to Franklin Lakes, they came to us. They had hired the same architect that built the original Paterson temple to design the new temple in Franklin Lakes. This was a large, brand new facility from the ground up in Franklin Lakes. It actually won a masonry award for mason work inside and out. The facility features triple wall construction with heavy wood trusses and wood decking.
